One cPanel account can host several websites through addon domains. Keeping them organised and secure makes managing many sites painless.
Each addon domain gets its own folder under your account. Keep them clearly named and separate, with their own databases and email, so it’s always obvious which files belong to which site.
All sites in one account share its disk, inodes, bandwidth and security. A problem on one — a hacked plugin, a runaway script — can affect the others, so keep every site updated and clean.
For unrelated clients or sites that must be isolated, separate hosting accounts are safer than packing everything into one cPanel. Use one account for sites you control and want to manage together.
