How to Clear Your Website Cache

Made a change but still see the old version? A cache is showing a saved copy. Clearing it at every level reveals your latest updates.

Layers of cache

Your page may be cached by a WordPress plugin, by server-level caching like LiteSpeed, by a CDN, and by your own browser. Any one of them can show stale content after an edit.

Clear each layer

Flush your caching plugin and server cache, purge the CDN if you use one, then hard-refresh your browser. Clearing in that order ensures you’re seeing the truly current page, not a saved copy.

Avoid confusion

When testing changes, an incognito window bypasses your browser cache so you see what new visitors see. If a change still won’t show, a cache somewhere is usually the reason.
