When a page errors or behaves oddly, the logs in cPanel usually reveal exactly why. Reading them turns guesswork into a quick, targeted fix.
The Errors section shows recent web-server errors, while the Metrics area holds visitor and raw access logs. For application-level problems, your CMS may keep its own debug log too.
Each entry has a timestamp, the file or line involved, and an error message. Match the timestamp to when the problem happened, and the message usually points straight at the plugin, script or setting at fault.
A repeated error from one plugin or file tells you where to focus. Fix or remove the cause, then refresh the logs to confirm the error has stopped appearing.
cPanel’s error and access logs pinpoint the cause of most issues — match the timestamp and message, fix it, and confirm it’s gone.
