If a particular address is attacking your site or scraping it aggressively, cPanel’s IP Blocker stops it reaching your account entirely.
Block addresses that show clear abuse — repeated attack attempts, aggressive scraping, or spam. The logs help you identify the offending IP before you block it.
Open IP Blocker, enter the address or range, and add it. From then on, requests from that source are refused before they touch your site, reducing load and risk.
Be careful not to block legitimate visitors or whole regions you serve. For widespread bot problems, a security plugin or server-level protection like Imunify360 is a better tool than blocking IPs one by one.
IP Blocker refuses a known-abusive address before it reaches your site — useful for specific offenders, but use broader tools for widespread bots.
