If you use Google Workspace for email but host your website with us, you need to point your domain’s MX records to Google. Here’s how, in cPanel.
MX records tell the internet which server handles your email. To use Google Workspace, your domain’s MX records must point to Google’s mail servers rather than your hosting’s.
In Zone Editor, remove the existing MX records and add Google’s, as listed in your Workspace setup. Also set email routing to "remote" so cPanel doesn’t try to deliver mail locally.
Allow time for DNS to propagate, then send a test message. If mail still arrives locally, double-check that routing is set to remote and that no old MX records remain.
To use Google Workspace email, point your MX records to Google in Zone Editor and set routing to remote — then test delivery.
