How to Stop Your Email Going to Spam (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

If your emails land in recipients’ spam folders, the fix is usually email authentication. SPF, DKIM and DMARC tell the world your mail is genuine.

What these records do

SPF lists which servers may send mail for your domain; DKIM cryptographically signs your messages; DMARC tells receivers what to do if a message fails these checks. Together they prove your mail is legitimate.

Set them up

Add the correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC records in Zone Editor — cPanel’s Email Deliverability tool can generate and check them for you, flagging anything missing or wrong.

Keep sending clean

Beyond authentication, avoid spammy subject lines, keep your lists opt-in, and don’t send bulk mail from standard mailboxes. Good habits plus authentication keep you in the inbox.
