Why separate FTP accounts

Rather than handing out your master credentials, create a dedicated FTP account for each person or task. You can scope each one to a single folder, so a contractor only touches the files they should.

Create one

In FTP Accounts, set a username, strong password and the directory it can access. Share those details, and the person connects with an FTP client limited to that folder.

Revoke when done

When a project ends or someone leaves, delete their FTP account. Keeping the list current means no forgotten credentials linger as a security risk.
